Virginia is composed of a vast landscape. Virginia is the gateway to the South. Named afte....
Natural Bridge is a beautiful place for animal lovers. Situated at 150 miles West from Richmond , the capital city of Virginia State is hardly 2 and half hours by road. There are few more interesting spots to visit during the trip as well.
Virginia Safari park is a big area where we can see many animals. opened in the spring of 2000 this Safari Park fulfills the desire of many people to be able to see wild animals in a much more natural environment.
At the Safari Park we can see animals run and frolic with abandon...or block our path....or lay flat-out in the sun....the choice is all theirs....it is their world...they are free to roam.
The most amazing experience in the Park is that we can move around the area in our own car. We may ride a wagon as well which tours us through the park. The choice is all ours...but the enjoyment and fun is guaranteed.
Animal food buckets are available for visitors. We can feed the animals with the special grains. Children are enchanted to see the animals so closely ....approaching our cars for food. Experience to watch huge Bull Elk, Bison or Zebra only inches away feeding from your bucket is impossible to describe.
Visitors will enjoy Zebra, Llama , Ostrich, Emu, Deer, Elk, Camel ,Giraffe, Blackbuck, Nilgai from India, Yak , Bison ...and many more....I may have skipped some of them.
We find some caged animals like White Tigers and Kangaroo.
Small picnic spot. Will appeal people of all ages. Safari park is surely now one of the top areas of attraction. With lots of trees around...located in the valley of Shenandoah will definitely look beautiful in lush green spring and colourful fall.
On the way to the Natural Bridge we are bound to find McDonald's or Papa John’s ...the typical American brand food spots. But if you insist on Indian food one will have to carry the picnic lunch...
So enjoy the animal world...
