We're on our way!! Our flight was at 6pm (pacific standard) and my mom and I were preparing for a really, really looooong flight on Virgin Atlantic. Ready to go. All accessories bought and organized. Weather for the week looks fantastic. Uncharacteristic of <B>London</B> it's going to be high 70's and sunny Monday-Wednesday. Round trip tickets from LAX to <B>London</B> Heathrow for $430. No, I will not stop bragging about it. :) Flight to <B>London</B> was direct, which was pretty sweet, but I still insisted on taking my backpack as carry-on because I'm used to short Southwest airlines flights where I carry everything with me, and I'm paranoid about losing my luggage. We left for Paris at 6pm. Flying business class on United, the seats were comfortable. Connecting through Heathrow was a pain in the ass. They only allowed one bag per person and my little purse actually counted as one. Ended up having to clear customs, and trek back to the departures terminal to check in the rolling case.
