Dubai is one of the 7 emirates that constitute UAE.A city built just for tourism with visitors from all over the world throughout the year!We visited Dubai in 2003 with rich memories!Dubai is divided in 2 parts lying on either side of a creek. They are Bur Dubai and Deira Dubai.

We stayed in a service apartment in the golden sands area near the famous Spinney's department store. The beauty of Dubai is that the mountain, sea and the desert can be captured in one frame!

Tourist attractions are the breath-taking malls each of them taking atleast a week to explore, the desert safari where you ride on land-cruisers with deflated tyres in a desert. The experience is awesome. It will remind you of bullock-cart rides in badly laid roads. The desert safari is followed by belly-dancing by professional russian dancers in the desert.

The gold souk is one of the famous destinations out there. You get gold in purest form.We took a road trip to the other emirates as well except Oman where you need a separate visa. Sharjah was quite exciting as well as the jumeira beach. We went to the sharjah cricket ground but there no match in progress.

We also visited a krishnar temple in the Indian locality.I was suprised to see a hindu temple in a muslim country!Dubai by night is quite good especially in a cruise. One never misses Indian food in Dubai.Saravan bhavan to Sangeetha everything is out there.Even sri krishna sweets for the yummy masala poli!
