Round trip tickets from LAX to London Heathrow for $430. Hi from Geneva! We made it safely and rather easily. All of our flights were on time, and our connections were simple. Arriving here in Geneva, we got free metro rides on their train system which brought <B>us</B> to within a few walkng blocks of the hotel. We left Austin around 10 am. We drove through West Texas and stopped at Texas Road House in Abilene for lunch. We had reserved seats for the Texas! I am very excited and overwhelmed at this point. My husband and I enjoy traveling. We have been to Hawaii, Banff Canada, Philippines and different parts of the United States. Naomi met <B>us</B> at the house this morning, so we packed up all the suitcase's in the car and swung by the office to take care of some last minute things, then we were off to pick up Aunt Betty at thier house. Today we left lovely Schaffhausen and came to Vevey via Winterthur and Lausanne. It's a pretty train ride from Lausanne to Vevey, along Lake Geneva. Our hotel's in Lally, just below Les Pléiades (1400m) so we had to take the cogwheel train up. The view at Les Pléiades is breathtaking, with a view of the Alps and Lake Geneva.
