Strange photos of the Rainy Kind - From Zurich

I had been a Zurich on a really short trip ( 2 days). Some photographs from that beautiful city. Pardon the quality - it was drizzling all along and I was not even able to see the snow caped Alps !
And then this is a country side some where between Zurich and Basel. I was in a train !
Capturing such Church Towers became a kind of obsession for me. Every little community had one !
This looks like one of those towers that appear in fairy tales ! May be there is a some one waiting there for some one.

Some cobbled streets - some Neidofstrasse - near Limmat river - good place to eat and shop. The only way to see around Zurich heart of the city is to walk around. There lot of Strasses ! Bahnofstrasses is the main one. You cant miss it. Even if you want to.

The Landesmuseum. It did sound a bit awkward to ask for directions for this one - what with s being silent and all. The special display when I went was about family. It was interesting to the evolution. Even the permanent displays were very interesting. It was interesting to see the history.
Unfortunately for me, it was raining most of the time. As I said, I didnt see the Alps. Neither was able to take well lit photos. This is a paiting on the walls of a store along the Limmat river. I was in the boat taxi.
I was not able to take a side view of this guy or any of his relatives. THey all were too greeedy for food !

I spent some time at the "lauch party" before the beer took over the place.
And strolled the take in the beauty of night time Zurich
This train was supposed to pick me up at 6.19 to the Zurich airport
After some shopping in the airport, it was time to leave.
