We reached the dunes of Sam when it was evening and the sun was setting.

There was an orange and red glow in the western horizon and the sun looked bigger and redder as it slowly went down.

The dunes of sand were looking like huge waves of sand on an ocean of sand.

There were many camels with their owners having long moustaches and Rajasthani headgear and wearing the characteristic clothes of the desert.

We climbed on to the camels and the ride started going up and down on the dunes.

Soon a breeze stirred up and the sand started shifting.

Soon the dunes also shifted.

It was a sight to watch the shifting sand dunes in Rajasthan.

From somewhere nearby the tunes of Rajasthani music started wafting in to the creeping dusk.

The shadows became longer.

The long line of camels stood on the highest dunes and we watched the sun set as the chill of the desert night began to envelop us.
